When writing I’m always thinking of all kinds of issues I need to sort out before finishing a certain chapter or scene. I need to check on a description of some place, I want to edit the scene another time, but don’t want to forget about certain aspects that I think need change, etc. etc. Eboocz has a very simple system you can use to write down all kinds of annotations.
You can insert annotations in two different ways. In the Context Column under Writing and Text Tools you’ll find an Annotation option where you can type your annotation and add it to the text. Eboocz will add a blank line above and below the annotation so that it will stand out. Annotations look like this:
<!– This is an annotation –>
You can delete the annotation by simply selecting it and deleting the whole annotation. Of course, if you’re completely into distraction free writing, you can also insert an annotation by hand. Just type <!– the text of the annotation and end with –> and don’t forget to add a line above and below the annotation.
It is important to realize that annotations will NOT be exported to your final ebook when you hit the Create Ebook! button. So you can leave them in the final text for your own convenience.
